This position will be working a hybrid schedule requiring working in the Northfield, IL office one week each month. The remainder of the month will be working from home.
Responsibilities
Own the insurance billing segment by working with cross functionally with Business Development, Sales, Customer Service, Information Services, Legal, and other teams to design and execute a plan of action to drive business results
Provide recommendations and advanced critical thinking to identify improvement opportunities for current program
Work with Business Development Team to identify and new growth areas aligned to drive value and address industry issues for Post Acute customers
Develop go-to-market strategies for updates to the program
Survey Medline representatives and existing customer relationships to understand areas to improve
Responsible for coordinating and executing strategic initiatives within the billing network
Collaborate with Leadership to ensure that both strategic and tactical plans are aligned with the long-term strategy by creating and owning the business planning as they relate to insurance billing
Meet with finance regularly to review profitability improvement opportunities, this may include evaluating the overall profitability of a group or individual customer
Work with IT to continually improve the functionality and ease of use with EMR/EHR vendors
Identify underutilized customers that would benefit from the insurance billing program
Collaborate with Sales Training and Sales Marketing to effectively train both internal and external users of the program
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
At least 3 years of health insurance billing/benefits management experience or case management experience
Program management/project management skills, with ability and proven track record to plan, manage and develop strategic initiatives to successful goal completion
Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors
Willing to travel up to 25-30% to the corporate office one time a month as well as travel to client meetings as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous work with insurance providers, HME providers or program management preferred
Experience using business analytical skills
Experience developing strategic initiatives, which align with business goals and budget

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$96,200.00 - $144,560.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
