As the Manager, Safety, you will support management and personnel by developing safety and health programs to ensure the safety of our employees. Your years of experience will be utilized to maximize employee engagement and maintain clear and frequent communication on every level.

What you'll do on a typical day:
1. Develop & Implement Safety Programs - Create and enforce site-specific safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
2. Ensure Regulatory Compliance - Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and company safety standards.
3. Conduct Risk Assessments - Identify workplace hazards, perform safety audits, and implement corrective actions.
4. Lead Incident Investigations - Analyze accidents, determine root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
5. Manage Safety Training - Train employees on safety protocols, emergency response, and proper equipment usage.
6. Oversee Safety Reporting & Documentation - Maintain records of incidents, audits, and compliance reports.
7. Coordinate Emergency Preparedness - Develop and execute emergency response plans, including drills and crisis management.
8. Drive a Safety Culture - Promote safety awareness, engagement, and accountability at all levels of the organization.
9. Collaborate with Leadership & Operations - Partner with site leadership to integrate safety into daily operations and decision-making.
10. Monitor & Improve Safety Performance - Track key safety metrics, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
