ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Accountant, you will cover a crucial part of our companys accounting team. You will be involved in all aspects of accounting: cost accounting, payroll, general ledger, accounts payable, tax compliance, and various special analyses. You will report directly to the Accounting Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Process weekly payroll, including management of all 401k processing, reporting and complianceReview and reconcile payroll and 401k related GL accounts and headcount reportsProduce all needed payroll data analytic reportsReview and prepare weekly accounts payable runs with support of administrative teamAssist in month-end close accounting process, including journal entries and the reconciliation of certain balance sheet accountsMaintain fixed asset and depreciations schedules, including ASC 842 lease accounting Assist management with accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organizationPartner with administrative team to maintain all licenses and tax filingsPrepare and review monthly sales and use tax filingsUndertake special analytical projects as assigned or needed
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldAt least 3 years experience in accountingPrevious experience in a service industry (construction, plumbing, electrical) is a plusExperience with Inova payroll software or UKG/Kronos is an added benefit
