Golf Operations Coordinator (Creative Design)



The Golf Operations Coordinator assists in the day-to-day delivery of the various golf programs. Providing administrative services to the coaches, administrative staff, and student-athletes, along with facility maintenance, and coordinating with various departments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with onboarding students and campers.
  • Build relationships with students and families of the various golf programs.
  • Assist with coordinating gear and uniform distribution for 200+ full-time student-athletes and golf staff.
  • Frequent travel on away trips – serving as trip coordinator and assist with travel logistics.
  • Assist students and families with technology sign-ups and operations (Teamworks, Smartabase, CoachNow). 
  • Work with the golf management team on delivering the ultimate student experience
  • Assist the golf management team in planning and delivering summer camp and boarding school programs.

General Operations:

  • Manage the front desk and greet clients arriving at the golf facility.
  • Assist with management of the golf facility and maintenance operations.
  • Work with Campus Safety to ensure the safety of students and staff.
  • Work with accommodations staff to ensure proper staffing and cleaning of facility.
  • Oversee the ordering of all office supplies for the department.
  • Document and report facility upgrades, maintenance, and ordering.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, Business, or related field/experience
  • Experience in a collegiate sport specific program
  • Knowledge of high school athletics
  • Ability to work with diverse group of student-athletes, parents and staff
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of video editing software
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
  • Ability to travel.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Preferred Skills:

  • Valid Florida Driver's License or the ability to get one
  • Bilingual

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required.
