Your Role: Administrative Assistant – Legal Department
As an Administrative Assistant in the Legal Department, you will play a vital role in supporting multiple leaders within Elanco's dynamic Legal and Compliance team. In this hybrid role, you'll deliver critical support through communication management, meeting coordination, travel and expense handling, and other administrative functions.
Your Responsibilities:
Proactively manage calendars, coordinate complex travel arrangements (domestic and international), and process expense reports, including multi-currency reconciliations.
Schedule and manage meetings of various sizes, including logistics such as venue arrangements, equipment setup, and catering; document meeting minutes and identify next steps.
Assist with onboarding of new employees, coordination of recruiting schedules as needed, and procurement tasks such as setting up purchase orders and submitting invoices.
Support legal document organization by creating and maintaining databases, group lists, and collaboration sites, ensuring proper records management and accessibility.
Handle special projects, such as organizing team events, planning corporate initiatives, and facilitating key programs like Town Halls and Connect Week.
Manage communication, including preparing documents, handling email responses, and independently addressing external customer requests.
Coordinate complex meetings and maintain executive calendars, ensuring seamless logistics and follow-up.
Serve as a resource for administrative process improvements and as backup support for other administrative professionals as needed.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: High School Diploma/GED.
Experience: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint). Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and maintain confidentiality in a regulated environment.
Top 2 Skills: Exceptional organizational and communication skills, coupled with adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Experience working with legal teams or departments.
Proficiency in Concur Travel and Expense Reporting.
Strong interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude.
Demonstrated expertise in managing complex calendars and logistics.
