We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Sourcing Manager – Chemicals to lead the sourcing strategies for raw materials and chemicals supporting our personal care product lines. This role is integral to optimizing costs, ensuring supply continuity, and fostering strategic supplier partnerships.
How will you contribute:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for chemicals and raw materials to meet production and business objectives.
- Lead supplier relationship management, including evaluation, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Quality) to ensure material alignment with specifications.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through spend analysis and process improvements.
- Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., REACH, FDA, EPA).
- Drive sustainability initiatives by exploring eco-friendly material alternatives.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with a focus on chemicals or personal care manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Familiarity with global regulatory standards and sustainability practices.

This position is currently classified as on-site.
Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $122,000 per year, based on candidate professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Holidays, Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program.
The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
