Crane Operate / CDL Driver (Transportation)
Clean crane by lubricating and maintaining mechanisms such as boom, cables, pulleys, and grappling devices.
Determine load weights by checking weights against lifting capacities and work toward preventing equipment overload.
Inspects crane equipment and structures to ensure safe operation.
Uses hand and voice signals to install, position, handle, move, and manipulate materials and crane equipment.
Direct activities of oilers, truck drivers, or riggers in setting up and tearing down the equipment to ensure the use of proper cribbing.
Operate commercial trucks safely by maneuvering, navigating, and driving vehicles or mechanical equipment safely, including forklifts and passenger vehicles.
Strict adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and state laws to ensure compliance.
Perform physical activities that require using arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
May serve as a rigger, signalman, or crane setup assistant as needed.
Maintain vehicle each day by fueling up, hooking up, cleaning out, and washing to be ready for the next day.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A Driver's License.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Valid and in good standing NCCCO crane operators certification.
Willing to travel out of town.
