Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Scrum Master to lead multiple scrum teams for our software development program. The Scrum Master will be responsible for managing Agile Ceremonies, (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, Sprint Review, PI-Planning) coordinating, prioritizing and scheduling work with Product Owners, and working closely with the Release Train Engineer and other Scrum Masters to ensure Agile best practices are met across the teams. Based on the scope of the position, you may be working with software or systems engineering scrum teams and overseeing scrum for at least two Scrum Teams. Applicant should expect to conduct coordination across the scrum teams and also possess strong organizational skills. This is a non-people management position.
This work requires candidates an active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities:
Facilitate all scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, program increment planning, and program increment reviews
Coach and mentor the development teams on agile principles, Scrum practices
Identify and remove impediments that hinder progress by implementing opportunities for improvement identified during retrospectives
Be able to identify opportunities for improvement/efficiency, get buy in across the program, and implement
Communicate across the scrum to ensure development is synchronized
Assist in the creation of relevant agile metrics to track progress and identify areas of improvement, in close coordination with the release train engineer
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance
Work full-time on-site
Five years of experience working as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
Proven experience facilitating agile development
Strong understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies
Track record of mentoring and coaching on agile methodologies
Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to resolve impediments and conflicts efficiently and effectively
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence as mechanisms for tracking work and communicating with customers
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or other agile certifications
Experience with government contracts and familiarity with government development processes
Familiarity with Earned Value Management and the integration of Agile methodologies and EVM tracking
Experience training teams on agile methodologies
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or at least five years of experience in lieu of a degree
