Brazing Technician (Manufacturing)

Our Brazing Technicians carry out vacuum brazing services to some of the most notable companies out there. With extensive training (typically 6+ months if youre new to this), youll learn the ropes from our tenured co-workers to provide services of the highest possible quality. Whether you have experience or not, with the right attitude, attention to detail, and some basic math skills, all duties can be trained with room for growth.
We are looking for a first shift Brazing Technicin who will work Monday-Friday 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
What youll do
As a Brazing Technician, youll be responsible for handling a vacuum brazing process that joins small metal parts together while keeping assemblies bright and clean. The day-to-day responsibilities include:
Properly assemble and fixture parts for braze runs Check dimensions against drawings and customer requirements Maintain cleanliness and an orderly work area Accurately assemble braze parts per drawings and/or work instructions Inspect parts post-processing to ensure they adequately meet customer requirements Ensure parts are properly packaged according to customer specifications and to avoid damage when shipped or delivered Work efficiently while ensuring company quality standards are maintained Perform other duties as assigned
What you need to thrive in this role
High School Diploma or GED Prior manufacturing or production experience required, soldering or brazing experience preferred Able to lift, bend, reach, repetitively use hands, and stand on a daily basis and for period of time Reliable, organized and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to read and comprehend work instructions Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) Ability to multitask, prioritize work and overcome obstacles to obtain positive results
