Specialist, Transfer Services (Education)
Job Summary
Provides student and alumni transfer support regarding assigned articulation partner enrollment/transfer requirements and related guidelines and delivers networking events and opportunities designed to connect students with university partners with the intention of increasing transfer rates to assigned institutions. Establishes strategic partnerships with university recruiters and related COEs, students, staff, and faculty which are supportive of the goal to ensure students are informed of the various transfer opportunities available to them.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Plan and coordinate all Transfer Services activities in partnership with key internal and external partners to host online and face-to-face HCC transfer fairs.
Support Transfer Services Department activities including but not limited to hosting transfer fairs, university campus tours/visits, informational interviews, online/face-to-face information sessions, and other duties assigned including meeting with select cohorts of students at assigned regions within the HCC system.
Assist to coordinate Transfer Services programming including inviting University Partners to HCC Transfer Information Sessions, Career Fairs, plan University site visits, informational interviews, and other unique student interfacing events.
Partner with University Partners, HCC Pathway Advising Teams, Career and Job Placement Services, and other Student Services departments to host annual Transfer Services Symposium.
Maintain daily appointment availability for assigned students to schedule appointments to discuss transfer services related matters.
Utilize existing technology (PeopleSoft, CareerHub, Who's Next, and other resources) to document, track, and report HCC students' interactions with university representatives.
Participate in and seek out professional development opportunities via relevant local, regional, and national associations to keep abreast of industry trends and best practices within the following fields in higher education: enrollment management/admissions, student success, career services, and academic advising.
Conduct on- demand virtual sessions detailing the transfer process and necessary requirements for partner institutions; conduct classroom visitations in assigned pathways programs, and other daily activities in the Transfer Services space.
Participate in assigned committees in support of ongoing initiatives and business processes.
Track and maintain data and helpful resources to expand and update Transfer Services website with the latest assigned articulation agreement partners' curriculum and enrollment guidelines/requirements.
Track and document graduate cohort transfer outcomes to assigned articulation agreement partner institutions.
Support Office of Alumni Affairs initiatives by collaborating on related events and contributing to data-driven projects.
Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.

Working Conditions
General Office. Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations; remain in a stationary position during shift; move items weighing up to 25 pounds; position self to operate job equipment; apply established protocols in a timely manner. Must access, input and retrieve information from technology devices; communicate with others to accomplish job requirements. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
