Position Summary
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the analysis and interpretation of market data, implementing pricing strategies, and predicting future market trends. The individual will work closely with product management, global sourcing, sales and marketing teams to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies. This position can work on-site at our Neenah Corporate Headquarters or work a hybrid schedule. The individual in this role must reside in Wisconsin.
Job Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes market trends, competitor pricing data, and predictive market conditions to develop pricing recommendations for products or services.
- Collaborates with Product Management, Global Sourcing, Sales and Marketing teams to develop pricing models, including customized pricing that balances customer and corporate goals.
- Uses statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies, including margin and impact analysis.
- Ensures pricing strategies adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
- Forecasts revenue and market share based on pricing trends.
- Maintains a comprehensive database of pricing history.
- Creates reports and presents findings to management.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree business related field.
- 2 years of experience in a B2B pricing analyst role with demonstrated experience with market pricing, competitive positioning and data analysis.
- Competitive research, product positioning and marketing analysis experience preferred.
Other Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database software.
- Advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and businessstrategies
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time.
