Water Resources Intern (Finance)

Role description:
Arcadis is currently searching for a Water Resources Engineer Intern in Atlanta, GA, San Francisco, NY, Arlington or South Florida, supporting federal, state, municipal, and industrial water resources planning studies and detailed design projects for urban resilience, watershed and river basin management.
Working within our Design & Engineering teams, you'll create some of the world's most iconic and ground-breaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us, from making journeys easier to opening public places that bring people together.

Around the world, we're feeling the effects climate change, rapid urbanization, loss of biodiversity. The rate at which we're seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires, is becoming more frequent. Role accountabilities:
As a Water Resources Intern accountabilities will include:
Assisting in the development of hydrologic, water quality and hydraulic models, you will work on Resiliency planning and engineering design to address coastal and inland flooding.
Compiling, analyzing and formatting geospatial data using ESRI GIS software for use in engineering studies and design you will prepare technical reports, business development support, and other technical writing as well as provide watershed and water quality assessments.
Performing engineering calculations and design work supporting ecosystem restoration, hydraulic structures such as dams, levees, bridges and urban conveyance stems, stream & river channels, and green infrastructure you will assist us with growing our water team.
