The Senior Patient Account Representative Senior oversees charges input and billed to various payer sources, use of various online systems, claims verification and management, and quality assurance for the admission process. Provides training to team members and participates in or leads project as requested.Provides training to new and existing Patient Account Representative (PAR) team members, communities, and other business partners.Administers activities associated with divestitures including month-end close tasks.Conducts and responds to audit requests.Assists with system and end-user testing as needed.Responsible for continuous improvement activities by developing and implementing efficiencies within the department.Works closely with supervisors to provide support as needed.Completes special projects assigned by the management team.Cross trains and supports Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Accounts Receivable Business Analyst functions where applicable.Finishes other tasks aligned with supporting the PAR team, such as the credit balance report as well as write off and refund management.This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
