Messer is seeking a CDL Driver in the Louisville market. Class A drivers are preferred, but Class B drivers who possess a working understanding of construction equipment are encouraged to apply as well.
What You Will Do:
- Performing daily commercial vehicle inspection
- Ensure the completion of necessary repairs to vehicle to ensure operational safety
- Maintain complete vehicle inspection reports (Daily)
- Safe Loading & unloading of various construction equipment and supplies
- Making pick-ups & deliveries to job sites in various environments
- Performing basic troubleshooting involving malfunctioning equipment and making minor repairs
- Demonstrating proper and safe equipment usage to customer at point of delivery
- Maintain ELD Compliance

- The position requires compliance with the following responsibilities:
- Maintain a valid driver's license with Class A or B CDL certification, DOT Physical Examination (Medical Card) & a good driving record
- 2 years of verifiable experience operating Class A or B Commercial Vehicles
- Working knowledge and understanding of Motor Carrier Safety regulations / DOT guidelines
- Prior experience in safe operation of construction machinery, and a working understanding of load securement and transport methods
- Accountability for personal safety & maintaining a safe work environment
- Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness on the roadways
- Attend Messer safety training programs
- Attend applicable continuation skills training programs
