Metrology Technician I - West Chester, OH (Maintenance)
Position Summary:
Perform duties to measure customers' parts in accordance with national and international standards following procedures in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

What You'll Do:
1. Perform inspection of customer parts by operating CMM, Vision and Form measuring equipment.
2. Develop and edit basic part programs on CMM, Vision and Form equipment.
3. Perform inspection of customer parts using a variety of hand tools and surface plate inspection tools.
4. Maintain measuring equipment and calibration status in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
5. Interface with customers as needed.
6. Perform customer product runoffs.
7. Be able to ship/receive products.
8. Assist in the day-to-day paperwork as needed.
9. Assist management with maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
10. Assist in internal audits of the laboratory quality system.
11. Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures.

Work Environment: Office, quality room.
Physical Demands: The person in this position occasionally needs to move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc. This person will need to be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Monday – Friday 8:00 am 4:00 pm to start. After training, this could be split or 2 shift position.
Travel: Up to 25%
Required Education and Experience: Minimum 2-year technical degree or equivalent and 5-10 years of dimensional measurement experience with a wide variety of measuring equipment including major instruments such as CMM, vision, or form.
Knowledge & Skills:
Must have working experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Excel and WORD.
