What you'll do:
Associate Sales Representatives are expected to independently screen and underwrite prospective financing transactions to ultimately grow and retain profitable relationships. Primary responsibilities include screening new opportunities and loan increases for existing customers as requested. Associate Sales Representative will work to be the intake point on opportunities to grow the portfolio so that the relationship manager, the sales rep, who is the focal point of the client relationship, can continue orchestrating the interface with clients and credit support staff as well as product partners. Individuals in this position are further developing important business development or product management responsibilities, where the main focus is designing and delivering creative banking solutions to customers and prospects and existing clients.
Screen new opportunities and increase requests for existing customers as requested.
Make suggestions, based on the screen, to structure, covenant package and strategy for clients and prospects.
Acting intake point on opportunities to grow the portfolio.
Can collaborate with credit team to fully understand performance of portfolio companies through statement, borrowing base and trend analysis.
Support resolution of exceptions, renewals, reviews, and the credit process as needed.
Support adherence to all policies and guidelines; maintain risk rating accuracy; anticipate future needs and interface pro-actively with stakeholders and partners to address those needs.
Qualifications:
2-5 years' experience underwriting and financial analysis experience or training in commercial underwriting.
Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience.
Must have general banking/retail banking knowledge.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to complete assigned tasks on an independent and timely basis.
Strong desire to learn new skills and strong retention as it pertains to training and detail.

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary range for this role is $71,000- $82,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
