Site Operations Technical Recruiter (Finance)
Mission
The Site Operations Recruiter identifies, recruits, and engages highly qualified site supervisors who play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe execution of activities at various project sites. The role is dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance through the selection and placement of competent individuals.
Key Accountabilities
1. Talent Acquisition:
- Identify and source potential candidates for site supervisor positions through various channels, including job boards, networking, and industry-specific platforms.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and alignment with safety and quality standards.
2. Needs Collection:
- Collaborate with Site Operations managers and other relevant stakeholders to understand specific site requirements and tailor recruitment approaches accordingly.
3. Engagement and Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing site supervisors.
- Effectively communicate the company's values, safety culture, and expectations to candidates and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
4. Safety and Quality Standards:
- Prioritize candidates with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Assess candidates' understanding of industry regulations and their ability to enforce and promote safety measures at project sites.
- Ensure that the candidates comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations and standards requirements.
5. Collaboration with Managers:
- Work closely with Service Operations Mangers and other relevant stakeholders to understand project-specific needs and site supervisor requirements.
- Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and collaborate on the selection process.
6. Proactive Problem-Solving:
- Anticipate potential challenges in the recruitment and onboarding process and proactively develop solutions.
- Address any issues related to candidate selection, placement, or on-site performance in a timely and effective manner.
7. Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure all recruitment and onboarding documentation is complete and compliant with company policies and regulations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to site supervision.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology
Qualifications
Recruitment Experience:
- Proven experience in recruiting for construction or related industries.
- Familiarity with the specific skills and qualifications required for site supervisor roles.
Industry Knowledge:
- Understanding of construction industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
- Familiarity with the roles and responsibilities of site supervisors.
Sourcing Techniques:
- Knowledge of various sourcing techniques, including online job boards, social media, industry events, and networking.
Understanding of Regulatory Compliance:
- Familiarity with relevant labor laws and regulations in the construction industry.
- Ability to ensure that the recruitment process complies with legal requirements.
Use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS):
- Proficiency in using ATS to manage the recruitment process efficiently.
- Experience in leveraging technology for candidate tracking and engagement.
