Summary
Temporary Data Entry Personnel, Laboratory Information Systems is responsible for ensuring double data entry of study data from sites through the submission of Local Laboratory reports. S/he participates in all aspects of the entry workflow.
Responsibilities:
Two-year college or university program certificate preferred.
Required Skills
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Mathematical Ability:
Ability to apply simple mathematical skills and abstract thinking in a logical and organized manner.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including word processing software, spreadsheet software, database software and knowledge in the use of standard query tools is preferred.
