Staff Physician (full-time) - Anesthesiology, McGovern Medical School (Finance)

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston invites applicants to fill our full-time staff physician positions in the Department of Anesthesiology .

Position Key Accountabilities:

The physician staff member will provide anesthesia services at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, LBJ Hospital, or Memorial Hermann Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and medically directing resident anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and anesthesia assistants at all service sites covered by the UTHealth Houston Anesthesia team.

• Reporting to the Medical Director of the Operating Room or her designee.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist
• Licensed to practice in Texas.
• Four years of training (1-year general house staff) and 3 years anesthesiology residency.
