For more information, visit:www.gpinet.com Responsibilities: Performing basic analysis and design of project elementsPreparing cohesive and organized structural calculationsDetailing and drafting of structural elementsAssist with geometric layout and quantity developmentDeveloping task deliverables for review by a Senior EngineerPerforming tasks according to assigned schedule and budgetWorking independentlyunder the guidance of a Senior EngineerProvide direction for team members as neededParticipate in bridge inspections, perform load rating calculation and assist with report writing Qualifications: 0-5years of structural engineering design experienceB.S. in Structural Engineering degree is required, M.S. is preferredEngineer-in-Training Certification preferred, with a desire to obtain PE licensureBasic knowledge of applicable codes and standardsBasic knowledge of general-purpose structural analysis programsBasic knowledge of computer-aided drafting programsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office productsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent organizational skillsPositive attitude and good work ethic with desire to work in a collaborative environment
