Equipment Operator (3rd Shift) (Manufacturing)
Sequence products per customer specifications (product sequencing refers to the process of arranging products in a specific order)
Use RF scanning equipment to verify sequencing information.
Operate hand tools, assembly equipment, and basic office/warehouse equipment.
Sort products for quality checking and defect containment.
Perform quality checks per company/customer specifications
Ensure products are labeled and free from defects.
Follow all safety and operational guidelines associated with operating crane and hoist equipment and/or mobile equipment.
Accurately complete all paperwork/documentation associated with the position.
Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping or removing scrap, pallets, cardboard, etc.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The associate may occasionally be required to lift 51 pounds, anything greater than 51 pounds requires assistance. This associate will also be Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and vests are required for personal protective equipment (PPE).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full-Time, follows customer schedule, currently Monday - Saturday (guaranteed overtime)
Shift Availability:
Second Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Third Shift: 10:30 pm - 7:00am
Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required. Regular and reliable attendance at work is expected.
Travel
No travel is expected in this position.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Work experience in a warehouse and/or a Just-in-Time (JIT) environment
Knowledge of safety practices
Basic computer skills and experience with a warehouse management system, preferred
