Your Role: Senior Executive Assistant – Legal Department
As a Senior Executive Assistant in the Legal Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Executive VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, as well as the Global Legal Team. This hybrid role requires exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking skills to effectively manage executive schedules, travel arrangements, office operations, and confidential information.
Your Responsibilities:
Manage complex calendars, prioritize meetings, and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, ensuring all details are meticulously planned.
Oversee communication management by handling email responses, drafting correspondence, preparing presentations, and serving as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Organize and manage meetings, including logistics, documentation, and follow-up on key action items.
Assist with legal document organization, records management, and procurement tasks such as purchase order creation and invoice submission.
Support onboarding and recruiting processes by scheduling interviews, coordinating hiring logistics, and facilitating new employee integration.
Lead and coordinate special projects, corporate initiatives, and key company programs such as Town Halls and Connect Week.
Act as a mentor and resource for other administrative professionals, fostering collaboration and efficiency within the organization.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive legal and business matters.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Education: High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
Experience: 6+ years of administrative assistant experience, preferably in a legal or corporate setting.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).

Experience supporting senior executives in a legal or compliance function.
Expertise in Concur Travel and Expense Reporting.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with high-level executives and external partners.

Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Travel: 10%
Location: Global Elanco Headquarters - Greenfield, IN - Hybrid Work Environment (New HQ in Indianapolis, 2025).
